1. Variables & Expressions (Section 2-1, pages 48-51)
2. Writing math expressions with words (Section 2-2, pages 52-55)
3. Equations (Section 2-3, pages 58-61)

Assessments:

1. Monday 21 September 2009 - Chapter 1 Exam (100 points)
2. Thursday 24 September 24 2009 - Chapter 2 - Quiz 2A (50 points) - Covering material from sections 2-1 and 2-2.

2. The grades achieved by my students comes from four sources: Homework (given daily using Accelerated Math or distributed in class), quizzes (worth 50 points each, two per chapter), tests (one per chapter worth 100 points) and projects.
